Know that even though there are a lot of things that may differ us one to another, we still can be together. And the key to this is acceptance and understanding that everyone has their own point of view and values.

  • Fight for the relationship together

The hardest thing in a relationship is not having a partner that has a different religion views or even long distance relationship. The hardest obstacle is having a partner that does not want to try his best to make the relationship works.

What is the point of having a relationship if your partner does not want to work it out? Unless both of you only take a relationship for fun then it will be a different case. If you have had enough, let him go, you deserve better. Also know the signs youre ready to leave your abusive relationship to make sure of it.

Tips for interfaith relationship

  • Do not make an assumption

Human learn from pattern, and when we see something that we have experienced before, surely we feel like we already have the knowledge about something. But, we also tend to forget that human is the most complex living being.

So, we will need to stop making assumption about other people who have different religion with us. Because we don't know that deep about their religion values, it will be better to just respect. Keep making assumption can be one of the reason on what happens after marriage that people stop loving the way they used to.

  • Communicate things

Always communicate everything that you think need clarification or every time you have a different opinion with your partner. We tend to over simplified things and let it piles up become a bigger problem. We ignore simple things day by day and we let it becomes a time bomb.

Ask and be open minded to new opinion. This is one of the ways on how to fix an emotionally draining relationship, and to make an interfaith relationship can work. To communicate things and exchanging ideas will also help you to know your partner better.

  • Share more information

Rather than arguing on why you can do this but not another, it will be better to share more information to your partner. Share the values that you believe in, and by then he will understand why you choose to do certain things rather than another.
