What to Do If Your Crush Randomly Stops Texting You?

Last updated on April 10, 2024 by Michelle Devani

For you who currently have a crush, you are experiencing one of those best feelings. It is a feeling of love or infatuation. You lost sleep over the thought of someone. Every waking hour are no different. You constantly think about that guy or girl who stole your heart. Life sounds beautiful and romantic.

However, having a crush is not without its dilemma. In this case, you both are friendly toward each other. You hang out with them often. And in the digital world, it's no different. You call and text each other a lot of times.

But suddenly, your crush stops texting you. (If he's an Aries, signs aries lost interest in you). It was so out of nowhere and you're left with nothing but exasperation.

In a situation like this, what should you do?

Check their social media

You probably have done it. There's no crushing if it's without a certain amount of stalking. The first thing you can do when your crush goes M.I.A is to check their Instagram.

It's possible they're on a vacation at an exotic island without internet somewhere. So it only makes sense they can't contact you.

Check their friends

If you both hang out within the same circle of friends, you can ask his whereabouts to his bro. They will give you information on his disappearance.

He might be busy preparing for an exam. Or he could go out of town for a sudden family business. In life, anything can happen. Do not have bad thoughts before you can confirm it.

Do not bombard them with texts or calls

When they are not replying after some times, it's totally not cool to bombard your crush with too many texts and missed calls. Just imagine it happens to you.

You were busy in a work meeting and you see notification keeps popping up on your phone. You will certainly be annoyed. Your crush is the last person on earth you want to annoy, so it's never a good idea to disturb them with your texts, no matter how to worry you are.

If anything, sending too many texts can make him pulls away from you. It's certainly something you don't want to happen.

Leave them alone if they're busy

Once you finally find out the legit reason for his disappearance, it's time to take a step back.

Let your crush deal with whatever they're currently occupied for. Show support, sometimes it can be as simple as leaving them alone. In other times, it can also be supportive texts or even an offer to help.

Unintentionally bump into them

If their Instagram account shows that they're still in town and certainly there's no reason for them to be too busy to not reply you, something must be off. Your crush has been avoiding you.

It's not good news, but you can always confront them. If you've been seeing each other for some times, you must know where your crush is around on a daily basis.

There you can pretend to be unintentionally in the same place at the same time as him. Then you can ask him what happened.

Take the cue, they're not interested

Truths do hurt. If your crush has been avoiding you and then not replying back to you, it could mean one thing. Especially when they're not busy or out of town, them pulling away is an ultimate sign of them not interested in you.

It's not something you want to hear. But for your own good, it's certainly not worth it to spend your time and energy to a person who's not attracted to you. It's best to just move on at this point. There's still plenty of fish in the sea.
